Pastor Joe Swigart

The Lord was gracious to Joe and he was born into a Christian family and attended a Gospel-proclaiming church throughout his childhood. The Lord worked in Joe's heart and drew him to repentance at a young age. Joe was baptized at Calvary Bible Church of Girard, Kansas.

Joe moved to Kansas City and attended Calvary College. It was during that time that Joe met his bride-to-be, Debbie DeWeese, who was a hair dresser in Lenexa (a suburb of Kansas City). Joe and Debbie Swigart were wed on August 11, 1995. Joe ministered to the youth and college age group at Mission Road Bible Church of Prairie Village, Kansas while attending Bible College. After graduating from Calvary with a Bachelor of Science degree, Joe moved to Southern California to attend the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley, California.

While attending seminary, Joe was associate/youth pastor at Fillmore Bible Church in Fillmore, California. It was also at this time that Joe and Debbie were blessed with the first two of their four children. Joe graduated from the Master's Seminary with a Master's of Divinity degree in May 2001. After that, Joe became senior pastor at Calvary Bible Church in Moundridge, Kansas. During the years in Moundridge, the Lord added two more children to the family.

After his ministry in Moundridge, the Lord graciously directed Joe to another place of service. Joe became senior pastor of Beth-Eden Baptist Church of Wichita, Kansas in December of 2004 where he currently resides.
